Lavender Essential Oils are highly concentrated aromatic liquids produced through steam distillation where steam carries volatile compounds from the lavender plant material, which are then condensed and separated, yielding the pure essential oil and a co-product called hydrosol. Generally safe, but they should be diluted with carrier oils to avoid irritation for topical application on the skin; it is not for ingestion.
